The 1st team fixture at home to Garstang, the reserves away at Thornton Cleveleys and the Sunday teams fixture have all already been postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
The 1st team have not played at home since Saturday 10th October - 20 weeks ago. At least they have played one cup match and 5 league matches away - losing them all though!!
The reserves played their last match at home on Saturday 31st October and didn't play again until last week which would also have been postponed but was switched to Garstang with their 1st team having no fixture. They are due to play next Tuesday night at Blackpool Wren Rovers in the 2nd round of the cup with a 7.30pm kick off.
The last match played at the Centenary Sports Ground was the Sunday team the day after the reserves on Sunday 1st November. It now means that it will be at least 19 weeks before the last match was played and that depends on the weather leading up to the 1st team entertaining Burnley United next week.
Likewise the Junior section has also struggled with no fixtures being played at Shore Road since last October. At least we have been able to stage some matches for the under 10's Amber & Black teams down at Guide Road and of course the 3G has staged several friendlies for all the Junior Teams during this period.
Looks very likely to be a busy end to the season with plenty of night matches - lets hope the weather improves soon!!!
