Barnstaple Town 4 Highworth Town 0

A dismal performance at rock bottom Barnstaple summed up Highworth's recent away form.
A draw at Lymington Town and a win at Mangotsfield Utd have been book ended by conceding 4 goals at Evesham, Bristol Manor Farm, Sholing and now Barnstaple.
With the home side hanging on to hopes of avoiding relegation these 3 points drew at least them level with Mangotsfield Utd but with little or no hope of either finishing outside the 2 relegation places.
1st half goals from Ryan Turner and a penalty from Billy Tucker put the hosts 2-0 up before Charlie M Crae converted a Dan Drewett cross only to be ruled marginally offside.
Another penalty on 63 mins put the hosts 3 up as Philip Omerod converted with the same player completing the scoring on 83'.
McCrae had Highworth's only opportunity in the second period just failing to convert a cross from Ash Edenborough but all in all a pretty dismal day for the Worthians.
A long trip to Plymouth on Tuesday to face league leaders Plymouth Parkway and then at home to AFC Totton on Saturday and away to Cirencester Town on Easter Monday, both 3.00 pm kick off's.
