The Boro make a quick turnaround to HA4 for Tuesday night league action against London Samurai Rovers

It’s a return to The Middlesex Stadium with high hopes in mind, as a roll of wins continues the Boro’s form for mid-week action in the Combined Counties Division One League.

THE DETAILS
Hillingdon Borough v London Samurai Rovers
Cherry Red Records Combined Counties Football League
The Middlesex Stadium, Ruislip, HA4 7SB
7:30pm Kick off, Tuesday 14th October

CONTEXT
We return to HA4 in high spirits following our current run of form. A strong performance on the weekend presents a fast turnaround into weekday league action as we face London Samurai Rovers.

With the second round of the Middlesex FA Premier Cup on the horizon, it’s full focus on tonight’s fixture as we aim to make our current form a routine. 13 points from a possible 21 in our last seven games is the current streak for The Boro as we face London Samurai Rovers.

Our rapidly upcoming opponents sit 10th in the league compared to our recently improved spot of 15th place in the table. Last season, our clash against London Samurai Rovers was an overall positive display between the two fixtures. Our first encounter was within the opening two months of the league; a share of points and second half comeback saw a 1-1 result at The Middlesex Stadium.

It was however the away fixture which became the standout result between the two. January of 2025 saw the Boro travel to Rectory Meadow and collect points in a 1-3 win to collect three points, concluding the league meetings with four points from a possible six.

Managing our recently established opponents is Masakatsu Shibasaki who takes to the stage in Ruislip tonight as he faces a confident Gary Pitt who has undoubtedly found his feet.

“This quick turnaround sees us back in HA4 once again and we’re full force into tonight’s fixture with three wins on the bounce in all competitions. With cup action on the horizon again, I want to make tonight an incentive to continue what’s been building and continue to create a challenge. We’re now five wins from six fixtures and the boys have never been in better form, so it’s important to not slip in with four fixtures over the next three weeks.”
