All Stars - Made for kids
All Stars Cricket gives girls and boys from the ages of five to eight an opportunity to become a star. The curriculum of fun cricket activities and games provides your children with the basic movement skills to begin a lifelong love of our sport and general physical activity.
Why is All Stars Cricket good for my child?
All Stars Cricket will provide your child with all of the fundamental skills they need to play. Through lively, fun games, they will learn about cricket and be better prepared to take part in all sports. Over the eight-week programme, the trained activators will teach your child to:
Can parents and guardians be involved?
All Stars Cricket is also fantastic for parents. For an hour a week all mums, dads and guardians are invited to get involved and play cricket with their children. We know this is a great way to spend time with your child and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Parent activators (helpers) will support the fully accredited lead activator in delivering the session, supporting and encouraging children as they learn new skills. You do not need to be a cricket expert to be involved!
Playing at home
With their very own bat and balls, All Stars children can continue to play when at home, in the park or even on holiday!
Your child's safety
The All Stars Cricket programme is an initiative designed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The ECB requires all of the centres to undergo safeguarding, risk and insurance assessments before they are accredited. Alongside this, all of our All Stars Cricket activators have received training and are fully checked through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
All Stars Cricket uses soft balls and plastic bats that allow children to play the game while keeping them safe. Activators have a pack of equipment to support the children when they are learning how to catch, bowl and bat.
