1. Hindley Celtic 2010/2011

Standish glazing division two 2010/11

It was decided that with the influx of new players and interest from ex players that Celtic would run a second team this season. This was to be the death nail of the club but no one was to see it at the time as a, 'come and play for me in the seconds' attitude was adopted which at one point left the first team travelling to Farnworth with only ten men. The team found itself 'bowing down' to the seconds as pressure was put on players to 'drop' to the reserves for political ends- unacceptable behaviour. The team itself had some good moments but the bad over shadowed them. Winning at unbeaten Foundry was a great win and the come back in the divisional cup- again with an under strength team was a good performance; unfortunately after coming back from three down at half time we lost in extra time. The end came though through off field reasons. You cannot run up such a debt to the LFA and the League and expect it to go away, burring your head in the sand will not help. 24 years of football all gone now through miss management- SHOCKING! The season ended on a bit of a bright note though with Kieron Wright winning both the player of the year and top goal scorer in division two- Celtic's final act as a club.

Lowton Church Inn have folded from the league and their records expunged.
