Big spending Greenwich Borough were rolled over in style by a rampant Holmesdale side packed full of youth, pace and no shortage of skill.

In a game of contrasting styles, Holmesdale dominated from start to finish and were worthy 4 goal winners. In fact the margin could have been double figures were it not for the Greenwich Borough keeper.

An early goal from manager JP Collier settled the side down (another wonder strike) and superb team play saw Daniel Stewart cut through the static Borough defence for an outstanding 2nd goal. A further goal from a well worked corner scored by Kristian Campbell ensured a 3-0 lead at half time. The second half became a little scrappy and the Greenwich substitute saw red for a two footed lunge. He was fortunate not be joined by one of his colleagues as their frustration boiled over and Holmesdale finished the game strongly with a number of chances before Benga Ogunseys thumped home the fourth goal.

A great performance from the entire squad sent the travelling support home happy. Next up is Phoenix on Saturday 23rd August at home. Get along to see the leagues top scorers in action.
