Holt maintained their unbeaten home form by defeating Wymondham for the second time this season in front of a large crowd at Bridge Road.
Holt's impressive first half was just enough to see them home in a very close encounter.
Within 15 minutes Holt were 11 points ahead through 2 penalties converted by James Wyatt and a try by Aaron Tagg. Wymondham made the half time score 11-3 with a Charlie Delaney penalty.
Early in the second half a second penalty for Delaney made it 11-6.
The critical score for Holt came from a blind side break by Bruce van Poortvliet who created space for Alastair Hughes to score .The conversion by James Wyatt increased Holt's lead to 18-6.
Wymondham responded strongly and were rewarded with 2 tries by Charlie Delaney and Jamie Hunter.
The Norfolk Brewhouse man of the match for Holt went jointly to Jack Such and Alastair Hughes.
