Holyport Football Club can confirmed that Barry Rake has resigned from his position as first team manger.


Holyport Football Club can confirmed that Barry Rake has resigned from his position as first team manger.

The club were made aware of Barry's decision on Friday evening - 6th July 2018.

The club would like to thank Barry for his service and commitment during the last six seasons (three as Reserve team manager and three as first team manager). Taking charge of a combined total of 180 games over his six season's.

Barry made the transition from boys football with Maidenhead Boys and brought though a host of young local players which would go on to play first team football for the club.

After a difficult season in 2016/17 the club bounced back last season with a top 5 finish and entrance back into the FA Cup.

Matt Rolfe will take temporary charge of the side with Lee Ovens and Steve Deverall assisting him until a further announcement is made.
