This week Honiton seconds have another home game as they entertain Buckfastleigh Ramblers. The twos were meant to be hosting Torquay, but unfortunately the call came in midweek that they would be unable to raise a side. This is disappointing, especially considering that we travelled to them when their other senior sides had no games and took a bit of a kicking! Revenge was on the cards but its not going to happen, but all hail Buckfastleigh who are coming down for a run around.

The Ramblers sit mid table in Devon 2 and are an established first team, so this will be a tough test for the laceman. This has become somewhat of an annual fixture between the two teams, and Honiton travelled their early in the season and lost out 40 something to 20 something. The laceman have never beaten the ramblers but the games have always been competitive and played in good spirit, so with the twos on a bit of a roll it should be a tight encounter.

Team news….well the club have been hit hard this week with at least 10 of last weeks starters being unavailable, and as ever the team that gets hit hardest by this is the twos. However after so hard graft put in midweek a strong team has been named….

Meet is at 13.30 for a 15.00 ko but the club will be open from 12 for the England game.
