Honiton head to old rivals Cullompton this weekend as they look to get back to winning ways following last weekends devastating defeat against Chard.

There has been a big focus on doing the basics right at training this week, and the Ton will hope to show that they have learnt from the harsh lessons from last week. The Cully game was always a much anticipated fixture in years gone by, but due to Cullomptons rise up the leagues, it has fallen by the way side in more recent years. However, those times are now behind us, the boys are raring to go and we can't get reacquainted...

Team news and the front row see's Parratt and Logan pack down with returning hooker Price. He performed well in the back row last time out but will no doubt be looking forward to running out in his familiar position this week. Guilbert and Groves are in the engine room and Guilbert is one of the few faces that remember the last time our senior side took on Cullompton, so needless to say he is chomping at the bit to get going! Olive, Maynadie and Rice provide a good mix of youth and experience to the dynamic back row.

In the backs, Angus Meadows continues at 9 with Player Coach (and former Cully player) Alex Brooks at 10. I'm sure he looking forward to a great reception from the home crowd. Dom Hawke and Oli Cave pair up in the centres once again and Smith, Kidson and Coutts provide the gas from the back.

On the bench, Bailey returns from injury, Louis Lane joins him and Tom Steer returns from a couple of weeks away.

Honiton are itching to put in a performance this week and there isn't a better team for us to be up against following the disappointment of last weekend. If there was ever a team that could get the Ton up for it then Cully is the one and all the travelling Tonites are in for a belter of a game! Thank you for your support.
