This Saturday Valley will make the trip to Macclesfield RUFC for their first away game of 2020, looking to bounce straight back from last week's disappointing defeat.

The lads will be hoping to do "the double" over Macc, having beaten them 54-14 last August, but that's no guideline as the hosts are a much different proposition at home as they proved when they inflicted league leading Marple 2s only defeat of the season and they're coming off an away win at Didsbury Toc H, which saw them leapfrog Valley in the league so a close game should be guaranteed.

Valley will be looking to field another strong team, but will still be missing captain Ben Somerton and back rower Will Boot, who'll be absent for a few weeks with the broken hand he suffered last week.
