It seems a long time ago that the Club opened their league campaign with a home game against Old Bedians, Valley scored six tries, put six conversions anywhere, but between the posts and ground out a 30-19 victory. It was the first step on the long and occasionally bumpy road to the league title.
This Saturday (23 April) Valley bring the curtain down on an epic season with a visit to the Didsbury based club, who have two games to avoid relegation after a tough season that hasn't been helped by the withdrawal of Bowdon and Macclesfield from the league.
With the exception of the long term injuries Valley will be at full strength as players scramble to be on the end of season team photo.
For any travelling spectators the game will kick off at 1500hrs at:-
Millgate Lane, Didsbury M20 5QX
