After last Saturday's false start Valley will finally get their return to Division 4 East underway when they visit Trafford MV RFC to play the host club's 3rd XV.

Valley's squad is still decimated by injury with Matt Keeley (knee), Joe Scouler (shoulder) and George Watts (knee) all likely to miss the entire season, but several key players also return to the line-up after being unavailable for the season opener.

Trafford MV, who finished 9th in the division last season, began their season with a hard fought 42-21 defeat at Manchester Hawks, but are also likely to be stronger after the early start to the season caused selection issues across the leagues.

It's over five years since Valley last visited the Sale based club when their hosts won 31-12, Tom Bell and Kristian Williams scoring Valley's tries. It's a sign of the times that Matt Johnson, who added a conversion, is the only player still in the Club's line-up.
