Having been leading 12-0 and in total control of the game, Houghton felt disappointment last weeks game was abandoned. However with a home game and the Houghton feast weekend they will be looking to impress with another victory.
Two well attended training sessions and good performances last week, gave the coaches some welcomed headaches.
Glen Atkinson moves forward to the hooker position and is accompanied by the returning Matt Marchant in the frontrow. Craig Hicks also moves forward into the secondrow where he partners the every improving Chris Watson. This allows number eight Newton Turton to orchestrate things from the base of the scrum supported by Michael Carr and Adam Reay.
Impressive Colt player Alex Tuckwell is reinstated at flyhalf with James Ross and Ryan Graham partnering each other in midfield. This sees the back three of Ben King,George Greenshields and Graeme Bennet unchanged.
The impact bench sees possibly the strongest selection Houghton have had in a long time. Evaldas Gurskis and Kieran Smith both return after niggles and are accompanied by Ryan Pink for the forwards. The backs see regular scrumhalf Danny Bradley and flying fullback Mbongeni Moyo come back after missing last weekend. All will be looking to impress once they enter the fray.
