Light up the tree as a club memory for those that have passed 'We Will Remember Them'

Good Afternoon Ladies & Gents
At 6pm on Saturday Hoylake RFC will light up a memory tree officially switched on by Thomas, Rebecca and Edward Miller.
So what is it all about and why are we asking for donations?
During the last 18 months many members will have lost friends including Dan M, George F, Jane K and Boyd Hislop also over my time at the club we have lost many stalwarts, I think of GB, Headley, Ian Malcolm, Sterling D and Sam L to name but a few.

In July this year the Twickenham boys smashed the Guinness World Record for 7’s rugby at an event that was supported by members and the wider Hoylake community.
Inspired by the members/community event and Dan’s love of the colour pink Hoylake Lights have offered to light up a large tree at the club with pink lights every evening through the autumn, winter and spring for the next 2 years as a celebration of our lost friends so when we see the lights 'we will remember them'
Normally streets club together to have a lamp post or tree lit up on the high street with pink lights for the next 2 years Hoylake Rugby Club is OUR street.
The lights are supplied at cost and although not Blackpool illuminations they are quite impressive.
As supporters of the club we ask that those who can make a donation to the Hoylake Lights there will be some envelopes behind the bar if you wish or by a bank transfer and enter ‘HOYLAKE RFC’ in the reference field to ACCOUNT ‘Hoylake Christmas Lights’, sort code 20-45-45 acc 80306061
