2011-12 is but a memory and a new campaign begins in just over a week!

Welcome back to all our players, members, supporters and followers and welcome to the 2012-13 season! NEMLA Premier 3 begins on Saturday 29th September and there have been a few changes at Hull LC!

Firstly to bring you up-to-date with the changes at Hull LC. James Spence, Players' Player of the Year 2010-11, has returned to the club and joined the committee as Club Secretary. His presence is already being felt as he brings a great energy to the club hierachy. We also welcome some new players; Malcolm Kent is joining us from Stirling University, Danny Eckersall from Leeds LC and James Agar who has spent the past year coaching York University. We also welcome some new starters, who are picking up the stick for the first time this season.

Now to NEMLA and the changes have been immense going into this season. Leeds & Ashton earnt promotion to Premier 2, swapping places with Nottingham and Liverpool. As well as a first trip to Nottingham, two new clubs have entered, the unknown City of Stoke, and Lincoln, who we know too much about by comparison! Premier 3 has also lost 2 clubs; Chester Romans have folded their Men's side, whilst Oldham have ceased running their Men's Senior teams for a season whilst they rebuild. So Premier 3 is made up as follows:

Cheadle Hulme
City of Stoke
Heaton Mersey Guild
Lincoln City

The season begins with City of Stoke visiting Inglemire Lane followed by consecutive road trips to face likely promotion rivals Liverpool & Nottingham, before the third promotion rival, Cheadle Hulme come to East Yorkshire. New boys Lincoln then visit Hull, before the first half of the season is rounded off with a trip to Heaton Mersey Guild.

This year we also have the Lancashire Cup and Yorkshire Shield to compete in, whilst a number of players have hopes of representing Yorkshire this season.

This season the club also hopes to recruit more new players from the local area so if you are interested in playing lacrosse then get in touch with us by email to or contact us through the website. We welcome people of all abilities and experience and can help anyone new to the game learn it quickly & easily!
