The 7s tournament didn't go as manager Darren McIntyre had hoped; the team lost their first two matches
" Mad dogs? We played like poodles" he said.
The side did make it to the semi-finals of the plate competition.

The mighty Mad dogs 7s team are on the road tomorrow to take part in the annual Ashby Tournament.

The squad have high hopes of repeating their recent success in the Hull Uni competition, Manager Darren McIntyre said they are expecting a stiffer challenge than the Uni event but they will be back for the Summer ball whatever, even if it meant throwing the match.
Darren includes two promising young stars in Ben Smith and Ben Winterburn from this seasons successful U17s. The first match is against Loughborough at 11.40am

Alex Campbell, Alex Torkington, Ali Forth, Andy Barrass, Will Heylings, Keane Naylor, Sam Wilson, Sam Forbes, Ben Smith, Ben Winterburn, Stuart Nell(guest), Paul Cook ( coach)
