Home Away kits city of Hull influence the gospel and the Heart Of Midlothian

Hull Saints Football Club was formed in 2013 and has a unique background. Initially the club competed in the Yorkshire Christian League but since 2020-21 season competes in the East Riding Counties League. From its foundation as a church connect group the club has developed into a growing community club with fa charter standard status.
The new kits for the season ahead were produced by local business Lammy Sports and their logo appropriately is a rams head (see below), making it the perfect partnership.

So what are the significant features of these uniquely commissioned kits.
Firstly the badge in the shape of a heart intersected by a cross with the initials of the club HSFC show the desire of the club to reflect the heart of God which is the cross where the lamb (ram) was sacrificed for the sins of the world. The heart is also the badge shape used by the Heart Of Midlothian Football Cub in Edinburgh Scotland a club supported by the founding members.

The maroon shirts with white shorts and maroon socks also reflect this connection.

The club also promotes the connection to the city of Hull and now sports the crown symbol down the arms and side of shorts as well as throughout the stripes of the blue and white away kit.
Finally the bible scripture verse John 3:16 appears on the back of the adult kits just below the collar. Back in 1986 there was a campaign of highlighting this verse on banners at large sporting events it caused Jim Wood one of the founding members to check it out - the verse reads “for God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” this set him on a journey to find hope and forgiveness through Jesus and ultimately has led Hull Saints to be a club that hold out this message of hope to all.

The club is grateful to sponsors Felixstowe Agencies Ltd. and Hoopy. The kits are available via Lammy Sports website and watch out for a unique range of training wear in the near future by the same company.
