Shuker Cup Final WINNERS!

The Sunday Hares won the Shuker Cup Final 2-1 in a tight game against BR Railway Club FC on Thursday Night at Mill Lane Arundel. Matt Walker opened the scoring slightly against the run of play after 12 minutes. BR Railway were back on level turns mid-way through the half and it was pretty even up until half-time. The Hares edged the second half and inspired by Captain Shaun Yazz went looking for the winner. Following increasing pressure centre-forward Ryan Robinson poked home the winner from six yards. BR Railway Club made some changes looking to salvage the game. With a few minutes to go the Railway Club thought they had the equalizer but a good save from 'Donks' and a headed clearance from big Dan Steele kept the ball out. Much celebrations at the final whistle as the Sunday Hares win their first silver-ware for 25 years! Hares MOM was Keiron Gilbert.
