Arrangements and final squad has been finalised for the Remembrance Sunday fixture.

On Sunday 9th Nov 2014 Ide RFC will be attending the Ide Village War memorial service at 1045. (All agreed and supported by the Curate) It is advised to get there at around 1030 and parking is available the Twisted Oak side of the Village and arrive via the bridge. Players and supporters are asked to wear Club colours, ties etc. Afterwards you can adjourn to the club house for morning coffee etc.

Kings/Totnes Vets will arrive at 1200 at the club house. Changing facilities are available at the Cricket Club and showers are now provided back at the Poachers and 6 adjacent houses. Players and spectators are asked to be at the ground at 1315.

Whereby the reading of the 29 names on the War Memorial will be read out by Ellen Gooding, Ollie & Catlin Jeffery, followed the reading of the Ode of Remembrance by Chairman Ian Rae. At this point Greg Pascoe will play the last post followed by Mr Sutcliffe's of Torquay whistle and off we go.

The match will be kicked off by Ide's own Sam Skinner, now with Exeter Chiefs and in the England u20s squad.

Players afterwards can either change in the Poachers where showers are available or the Cricket Club Pavillion where there are no showers. Post match entertainment will take under normal rules.

Food and copious amounts of ale are available on the ground and parking. We ask players make a donation is the way of a match fee as sponsorship does not cover all the costs of running the club.

For those players who paid their £25 membership, club ties are available and please wear with your club shirt afterwards. Thank you for the tie donations, I would welcome a Topsham, Exeter, Exeter Sarries and Newton Abbot one chaps who play for said sides.

Enjoy the day and give generously to the RBL.

Squad list subject to change should England need more players on Sat.
