England U20s & Exeter Chiefs, Ide lad Sam Skinner presented with an Ide RFC shirt by Ollie Jeffrey.

Ide RFC the charity side reformed to commemorate those rugby players who never came back after WW1 hosted Exeter Chiefs and England's U20 star Sam Skinner for a special presentation of an Ide shirt.

Sam lo raised in Ide and a local lad who plays regular for IDE CC and has turned out for Ide RFC, received the shirt from Ollie Jeffrey, one of Sam's biggest fans and son of Team manager Dean Jeffrey. Sam is one England cap behind Dean, a target he is likely to overtake during the U20s RWC.

The shirt is special and carries the names of the 23 Ide lads who died in WW1 and 6 of which played in the 1906/07 Ide RFC which prompted the reformation of the Ide RFC who play barbarians style rugby and draw in players from all over Devon.

Nigel Gooding club secretary said: ' We are very proud to have Sam taking an Ide RFC shirt to Italy with England under 20s and hopefully in the tradition of that famous shirt (one hangs in the rugby tonight studio) we get to see some pictures of Sam in that shirt"
