Dear Wanderers, Past & Present,
As we enter our 125 year, we have had one of the hardest years in players' memories. The 2019- 2020 season could not be completed due to Covid 19.
Our efforts in the local schools were suspended stoppings us from building our youth section.
Senior rugby has been training since July and was not able to play any form of rugby until October then playing only two games, and closed down again. Numbers have been consistent at training throughout the pandemic. We will be looking to play touch rugby all through the summer up to the start of the 2021- 2022 season.
We have a big task in 2021 getting the social sides back on track, as a club we need at least three teams playing in the Red White, and Green, we would love to see some of you old players giving us a season playing or the thankless tasks of running and organizing a team.
With 2021 being our 125 anniversary year we will be celebrating with a function the details will be advertised when we know the date.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Chairman & Committee for the Stirling work they have done with the refurbishment of the clubhouse and hard work in 2020.
