ICC extends best wishes to hurt umpire

Ilingworth cricket club would like to extend its best wishes to John Whittaker, badly injured in Saturday's home match against Harden.
John suffered a fractured skull in a freak accident as the ball was thrown from the boundary edge.
He was whisked away in an ambulance to Bradford Royal Infirmary accompanied by ICC President Andrew Smith and was subsequently transferred to the Neurological unit at Leeds General Infirmary.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with John and his family for a speedy recovery.
