"A very important three points for us and one which was very much deserved for the lads. It was by no means a perfect performance and in all honestly I think we had played better in some of our defeats recently. Yet again the lads showed their togetherness and character to finally get the three points that their play has deserved over recent months.

Credit to Borrowash they gave it a good go in the second half, but I thought we defended brilliantly. The lads deserved a clean sheet and we would have had one had we not gifted them the penalty. The most pleasing thing about Saturday was the response to them drawing level. We didn't get our heads down and went straight back up the other end and got back ahead, playing some great football at times.

On another day the result could have been more comfortable but we'll take the three points and move on to Wednesday. Special mention to POTM for October Dan Tuck. Dan has had a superb month, driving the team forward from midfield every week. He covers every blade of grass in every game he plays and it's good to see him enjoying his football again"
