A brace for Baz and 1 for Bott drive 3s to victory

The M3 winning run stretched to 3 games with an (almost) comfortable win over Norwich City M4. A double from Baz, as well as Greg's opener saw the team race in a well deserved 3-0 lead before some silly errors allowed Norwich back in in the dying minutes.
Ipswich started strongly with a great run by Steve A setting up Greg for a deserved lead. Ollie P (MOTM), together with the ageless Steve and the returning Chris P dominate midfield and with the wise old heads of Langers, Ed Downie, Sampo and Alan at the back the team looked very solid.
A second goal was added by Baz with nonchalant ease and the team went into the break 2-0 up but not entirely sure that the scoreline reflected the dominance. A third goal was added after half time; Windy would have been proud of the interplay down the right with a base line lead, and underarm pass and a square ball smacked into the goal by Baz. The team rested on their laurels after that which led to Norwich dragging one back after Jack had made a couple of good saves, and then in the last few minutes the opposition scored again from a PC which we failed to clear.
There was still time for Ipswich to nearly score a sealing goal, and Chris P managed to get a defender sent off for swearing. The final whistle went on a deserved victory with Tommy Downie delighted that his glute injury during the warm up had not cost his team. Well done Tommy!
