Ipswich SEVEN mens 3's went to felixstowe 2 hoping to get another win to maintain their unbeaten start but unfortunally things diddnt go to plan.
Felixstowe 2 scored in the first 10 minutes then Ipswich 3 got a quick goal back from our returning player Jasper Mayhew. The match then heated up with both captains being warned for tackles and foal play and soon after Ipswich 3 had their first green card. Just 5 minutes before half time Felixstowe scored their second taking the score at half time to 2-1 to Felixstowe 2.
After the stern talk at half time Ipswich 3 did improve but the attack from Felixstowe 2 and our defence was overwhelmed as they scored a 3rd from a short corner on the 50th minute.
Ipswich 3 did get another on the 55th minute from a good follow up shot from George Davey but unfortunally this wasn't enough and Felixstowe 2 finished off the afternoon with another goal from a good deflection to beat the keeper.
This is the first loss this season for Ipswich 3 which lessons will need to be learned to keep the pressure on the top of the league table.
Man of the match goes to Richard Pallister on his first game for his efforts in defence.
Next up Ipswich 3 welcome Norwich Dragons 5 to Tuddenham Road.
