IRLAM FC make their first visit to FC United's Broadhurst Park Stadium tomorrow evening as they make their bid for a place in the prestigious Frank Hannah Manchester FA Premier Cup Final.
The winner of tomorrow nights semi final will line up in the final against the winners of Trafford FC v Droylsden FC, also played tomorrow evening.
FC United currently sit in fourth spot in the Bet Victor Premier Division, well placed for a promotion back into the Conference North Division. The weekend saw them play out a 3-3
home draw against Mickleover Sports, a 79th minute Finlay-Sinclair Smith strike ensuring the points were shared on the day.
IRLAM FC returned to winning ways at the weekend after a miserable run of defeats that has seen the side drop out of the promotion places for the present time, a 35th minute penalty, converted by Karl Cassell proved to be the only goal of the game as IRLAM edged out a hard working Hanley Town at the Ambitek Stadium.
The win keeps IRLAM in 8th spot in the North West Counties Premier Division.
