IRLAM FC make the trip to Blackpool based side Squires Gate this weekend as Michael Dodd's players look to return to winning ways in the North West Counties Premier Division.
A battling draw 3-3 away at Northwich Victoria recently was followed by a cancelled fixture last weekend as our home fixture against Runcorn Town fell victim to the weather, leaving the side fit and rested in preparation for what is always a tough tie away at the Gates School road ground.
Former AFC Darwen manager Luke Evans is the new man in the hot seat at Squires Gate, taking over from previous manager Andy Clarkson at the Club, and Evans started his new job with a narrow away defeat at the hands of an in form Avro FC recently, losing 3-2 on their last time out.
Irlam, currently in fifth spot, will be at full strength tomorrow as they look to keep in touch with the front runners at the top of table so far this season.
