IRLAM FC make the short trip to St Helens based Club Pilkington FC.
Our hosts this afternoon have had a strong start to their season, and currently sit in 7th spot after 7 games in the North West Counties Premier Division. A midweek 1-0 victory over an in form Wythenshawe side was impressive, moving them a couple of places above IRLAM in the form table.
IRLAM FC arrive this afternoon looking to restart their league campaign. Two recent FA Cup replays have meant the Silver St side have only completed 4 fixtures in league competition.
A last minute goal at Goole on Tuesday night was scant reward for an excellent performance from IRLAM players as we exited the FA cup at the 2nd attempt, and we will be hoping for a reaction from our group to Tuesday's disappointment over the Bank Holiday weekend.
