Dear Secretary/Team Manager,
We are delighted to invite entries from your club to participate in the annual JBFC Football Festival to be held at Jarvis Brook Sports Club, Limekiln Playing Fields, Palesgate Lane, Crowborough on Saturday 6th July and Sunday 7th July 2019.
Our tournament always provides a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for visiting clubs and the quality of our tournament facilities makes for a great experience for players, coaches and spectators alike.
In the interests of fairness and in order to ensure an enjoyable experience for all, we do not allow academy teams to enter.
This year, we are inviting entries from all age groups from U7 through to U16 as well as a Girls U15 Competition and Veterans.
The playing schedule is as below;-
Saturday 6th July U7, U11, U15 / U9, U13, Girls U15
Sunday 7th July U8, U12, U16 / U10, U14, Veterans
Under 7 and 8 age groups will play 5 a side in a Festival format with mementos for all participants. All other age groups will play 6 a side with a trophy for the winners and individual awards for both winners and runners up. There will be a separate ‘plate’ competition in those groups comprising two or more divisions.
There will be a BBQ, beer tent, and other refreshments available throughout the day, together with a number of side stalls for your entertainment.
The cost of entry per team will be £40. Full details of rules and directions will be sent to you in good time.
