Junction got back on a winning note with a well deserved win against Fantastic.For the second week running old friends were in the visiting side.Junction welcomed Waqar Uddin into the starting line up for the first time this season and he had a hand in the first goal when his corner was not dealt with and it somehow ended up in the Fantastic net,The bit of luck that the Junction needed.Fantastic responded straight away and drew level,Junction were playing some good stuff Joe Burns and Danny Murray were excellent in the middle of the pitch and Steve Batley was immense in goals and kept his side in it on more than one occasion.
A penalty then was awarded to Junction which was put away by Aaron Baxter.
It was nice to go in at half time with a lead as it had been a very close game.Danny Krigers came on 10 mins into the second half, replacing the injured Danny Murray and got some game time under his belt.
The second half was much of the same with both sides having chances, But Harry Chahal was getting more into the game and it was his strong running into the box which ended up with Uddin slotting the ball home, 3-1 and well deserved.Ben Elam then entered the fray and was a handful up front
It was now the turn of the defence to hold onto what we had,Sam Pinnick and El Polzin tackled anything that moved with Oli Diamond a welcome outlet.Eliott Wood was introduced to get some more experience and he did well in the middle, Although at times it became tense Junction held on for a well deserved win.
