? Kahawa Pride End Season with Player Awards

Kahawa Pride celebrated the conclusion of the 2024/2025 season by recognising players whose consistency, resilience, and leadership stood out both on and off the pitch.

Kevin Gatoto had a difficult start to the campaign, but his consistency in training and determination through off-field setbacks saw him sublimely finish the season. His goals against 2nd-placed A1000 Sportiff and a brace in the relegation derby against Pumwani SC cemented his reputation as a true embodiment of resilient hard work.

Benson Goved, who made his debut at just 15 in 2021, has steadily risen to become one of the most dependable players in the squad. This season, his heart and determination shone through even in challenging moments, making him Kahawa Pride’s Most Valuable Player.

Victor Ashinga, an inspirational senior member of the team and an advocate for environmental causes through Sports For Greener CBO, claimed the Japheth Otto Award. His character and leadership continue to inspire both his teammates and the community.

John Zakayo, who began the season as the fourth-choice goalkeeper, rose to the occasion to become the team’s number one. Beyond his reliability on the pitch, Zakayo has been a mentor to younger goalkeepers and continues to coach within the academy and local schools. His discipline and leadership have made him a complete role model.

Finally, Munyora, long recognised as the team’s creative spark, was awarded the Albinsson Award as Top Point Contributor. For years, his assists have fueled Kahawa Pride’s attack, and in a challenging season, he once again stood out as a key player.

The awards not only highlight individual brilliance but also reflect the values of Kahawa Pride: resilience, teamwork, leadership, and community spirit.
