After a brief Kings warm up, some quick work on the basics around the fundamentals of movement we enjoyed a brilliant game of rugby netball. The fact the kids hadn't played for a few months didn't show and there were great skills on show - finding space and making great passes. Remember to call where you are....left or right.

We then moved onto the first contact session for the u9s - and it was great to have Sam Richards down to help us with the first session - he will be back next week. All the coaches were really pleased with the progress the boys and girls made as we tried side-on and head-on tackles. The fact that we were able to finish with a proper game showed how quickly the kids took it! They will only get better.

Thanks as always for trusting us with your kids for their rugby coaching. Sunday reminded me what a great bunch of kids and parents we have.

Special mention to new boy George and Rory who brought him down (both getting a pack of haribo as a result). More on offer....

Also special mention to Jack who only got home from holiday at 2.30am on Sunday morning but still made the session.
