Kells exited the league cup giving a below par performance against Clough.
Welfare would like to thank the Howden Clough players and officials for taking part
in a minutes round of applause before the game for ex club captain Neil (Wilky) Wilkinson.
Kells were never really in the game lacking key players they struggled at times to contain
a lively Clough side.
An own goal and a last minute strike from sub Owen Spires the only bright spot.
Welfare will look to put the game behind them and hope to bounce back next week when they entertain premier side Hall Green Utd in the district cup.
