Kent come close in Yorkshire!
The Kent team did a great job at the Yorkshire IO with Thomas Runner up in U19's and the team getting a famous victory over Glasgow....
The KIV team had a good tournament at the Yorkshire IO in Heckmondwike last weekend with some good results.
Both Brett and Mat unfortunately failed to make it out of their groups in Open and Vets respectively however there was something to shout about in the U19's. In a group of 6, Thomas finished Runner-up whilst Conor finished 4th in a busy days play.
In the team event Kent, in a tough group, were alongside Yorkshire A, Glasgow and Moralzarzal (Spain). A tough start saw a 0-4 loss to Yorkshire, however a brilliant effort from the team saw Kent take a narrow 2-1 win over Glasgow to take the group to the wire in the last game against Moralzarzal. Unfortunately a narrow 1-2 loss saw Kent just fail to make the Semi-final but it was a great display from the team nonetheless!
