Home Game Information
Managers will need to know the Home Ground padlock combination to access the ground.

Please ensure that the team arrives at least 30 minutes before the scheduled kick-off of the game.

Please ensure that the you’ve checked your opposition’s colours and arranged with the Kit Manager or Youth Secretary to have access to away kit on the occasions where there is a colour clash.

Teams will need to have their Player Registration Cards with them in order to present to the other team and to match them up with the team players.

A changing room in the Clubhouse will normally be allocated for the team to use before the game. Managers should inform the away team that they also should normally have a changing room allocated. If the system is working properly, who gets what changing room should be up on the blackboard in the corridor in the Clubhouse.

Teams will be responsible for putting out the corner and halfway flags before the game. These should be in team's changing room before the game. If there is no game following the team’s game then they should return the flags back to the Clubhouse and make sure they’ve left nothing behind in the changing room.

Referees are organised by the Pitch/Ref Allocation Manager for home games. Teams will be informed on the name of the referee on the Monday or Tuesday before the home game.

For home games, Team Managers are required to contact the opposing team at least by the Tuesday before the game to let the opposition know the game time and location. Also the name of the referee needs to be provided to the opposition. Contact details of the opposing team managers is available via the Prawn Sandwich Website.

Managers should be aware that very occasionally that we may have to hire other nearby pitches for home fixtures. And you may also be asked to reverse your fixture with a team if we have too many matches scheduled to be played at home on some Sundays.

Home teams must provide the match ball. Teams should always be a spare match ball available.

Spectators should only stand on the side of the pitch where which is roped off. Teams and managers can stand on the other side.

For most home games the referee will be paid by a Club Official. Where no Club Official is attendance then it may be necessary for the Manager to pay the referee and claim back from the Club.

After the game a Manager must report the result to the League Organisers. For the Surrey Youth League this is via Prawn Sandwich Website. The Club is fined if the results and not recorded in time. This will be passed on to the relevant to team to pay.

Following the game, teams should try to provide a match report to the Club Website via the Club Website Manager or the Youth Secretary. It is recommended that a parent/supporter is "volunteered" to do this job.
