Kidderminster Lions Presentation Day Sunday 9th June 2019

Another season draws to a close and we have had some excellent football played on our fantastic ground at Chester Road. We have had some success in some silverware from our under 11's under Simon Dehavilland's guidance and Under 8 Juniors coming runners up in their league table under Jason Olivers's guidance.

As ever without the volunteers giving up their free time the football wouldn't happen so many thanks foe everyone's time and effort.

The future is looking good with a new Under 7 team being formed ready for September 2019 and we are looking to get an under 11 girls team together.

We have been successful in our application with the Wildcats Academy which is the launch of a girl's academy by the FA. We are working at getting more players there so if you know any girls wanting to play then send them on a Sunday 10am White Wickets.

More news is the Lions are a sister club to Birmingham City and the girls have enjoyed watching the Ladies team play along with many training events.

Our Under 17s have also formed a link with Stourport Swifts to feed players through to play in their first team.

The club is going from strength to strength and a lot of exciting things ahead.

We are always looking for volunteers to help out and get involved with coaching so anyone interested then come and have a chat with us, it is rewarding to see the kids play football and develop their skills in football.
