Aylesbury United 3 Kidlington 0
All the damage in this game was done inside the first 23 minutes as the Ducks confidently ran up a 3 goal lead.
Kidlington were behind as early as the 2nd minute when Sonny French swept them into an early lead. Things got worse for the visitors on 15 minutes when some dire defending left Tony Ball all alone on the far post and he was able to pick his spot for 2 - 0.
Kidlington really weren't at the races in these early stages and when on 23 minutes Mark Flanagan mistimed a tackle on Dave Manu the Referee had no hesitation in pointing to the penalty spot. Manu got up to convert the spot kick himself for 3 - 0,
There were no further goal before half time though Aylesbury kept probing away looking to increase their lead.
At half time Kidlington made three substitutions and some positional changes which allowed a more stable looking team to take the field in the second half, one in which Kidlington gave as good as they got, but couldn't find a goal to go with their better work. The closest The Greens came to scoring was a fine effort from Kaylem Patterson which home keeper Jack Hopwood saved with his legs.
