The first half was an even affair with chances at both ends of the field. Chloe Miskell came close for Kilkerrin on a few occasions as did Ailish Morrissey. At the other end Tulla were denied by a fine Leah Pettit save.

Kilkerrin began to dominate proceedings in the second half but Tulla were always a threat on the break and from set pieces. The deadlock was finally broken with ten minutes remaining when Ailish Morrissey scored a fine goal by beating three defenders and placing her shot low to the keepers left. As Tulla pushed for an equaliser, Kilkerrin broke up the pitch and Chloe Miskell sealed the win with a powerful finish in the dying minutes.

Well done to the team and management on a great win. Kilkerrin will now face Peamount United from Dublin in the FAI Cup semi final.
