Ever thought about getting into rugby coaching? Now’s your perfect chance. The Kings Cross Steelers are proud to launch our brand new Pathway to Coaching programme – designed to support aspiring coaches as they take their first steps into the world of rugby union coaching.

This unique opportunity blends theory with practical experience, giving you the chance to develop your coaching style while working hands-on with new players as part of our renowned Pathway to Rugby scheme.

What to Expect
Two expert-led education sessions with our Director of Rugby:
Thursday 26 June & Thursday 3 July
7pm–9pm at East London RFC

Real coaching experience at our popular Try Rugby Days:
Saturday 12 July, Saturday 19 July & Saturday 16 August (Times TBC)

Ongoing involvement as a coach in our Pathway to Rugby programme, kicking off at the end of August with regular sessions every Thursday and Saturday, culminating in a trip to Edinburgh in October.

Throughout the programme, you'll receive mentoring, feedback, and support to help build your confidence and develop your skills. If you're ready, we’ll even help you pursue your England Rugby Coaching Award.
