Due to Covid not all the grant authorities were prepared to offer funding for the extension in this financial year.

Despite 3 of the 5 grant authorities agreeing to funding, all had a stipulation of all funding to be in place before release of funds. The SRU were unable at this time to agree to our request and so we are going to review all our applications and the underpinning business case to get ready for re-submission early in 2021. The ambition to give our players and supporters the best facilities we can, that are fit for purpose and aligned to modern safeguarding criteria remains.

In the interim, our self help improvements continue. We deep cleaned downstairs during lock-down and upstairs has been painted, decorated and new carpets and lino in the loos fitted.

Seniors are training (Covid friendly) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm. Minis have staggered starts on Saturdays. Check out most recent news items on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/KinrossRugbyClub
