1st XV return to winning ways - just

With the promise of a team photo there was a full squad available with a significantly stronger back line than that which had suffered a defeat at the hands of Blairgowrie the previous week.

The recent resurgence at Carnoustie meant the boys from the KGV saw this as a must win tie in the battle to avoid the relegation spot at the foot of the table. Carnoustie, desperate to get off the bottom of the table were keen to do the same.
