Unfortunately Kirkley & Pakefield FC yet again this season became a victim of the weather last Saturday when Harleston had to call the match off due to their pitch being waterlogged and unplayable. Then on Tuesday evening the ‘Royals’ League Cup match against Mulbarton Wanderers had to be called off due to a frozen pitch. With a full list of Saturday fixtures this means three more mid-week matches to be arranged along with those already fitted in. The Walmer Road pitch was playable but the ‘Reserves’ were also idle with their opponents Stalham Town calling off are Friday evening unable to fulfil a team. This left the K&PFC U23s the only club team to play, in their L&DL Div 1 match against AFC Oulton at Dip Farm they fought out a 2-2 draw, to leave both teams in mid-table positions.
This Saturday at Walmer Road sees the official switch on of the clubs new LED Floodlights by Club President Mr Peter Aldous MP, this will take place before the kick-off of the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division League match against last season’s Thurlow Nunn Division 1 North Champions Sheringham 3.00 ko.

The ‘Reserves’ travel to Plantation Park, Blofield to play Norwich United U21s in a 2.00 ko. On the 3G Arena K&PFC U23s take on Waveney FC A with a 2.00 ko.
Next Thursday (26th Jan) the top of the table AFC Royals U18s play Gorleston at Walmer Road 7.45 ko.
The K&PFC U18s travelling the same night to play Wroxham.
