LAKENHAM MOURN JAMMA FITCH

On Saturday Lakenham welcomed Broadland to Hilltops for our first home game of the season.

There was a fantastic atmosphere around the club with Both Lakenham and Norwich Medics in action, along with a charity day organised by the Medics- I am a massive fan of charity, even after my altercation with Pudsey the bear in 2012 which resulted in him losing an eye 'Sorry bro'.

Captain Dan Baker made some brave changes, moving James Cook from the centres into openside- it proved to be a genius move!! James Cook led from the front and showed real grit in the backrow, he was rewarded early in the game with a try from the back of a collapsed maul after sustained pressure from the Lakenham attack.

Lakenham began to put phases toghether and suddenly showed a bit of structure for the first time in years!! The lineout was working, backs were catching the ball IT WAS A MIRACLE it definitely surpassed the day that Jesus rose again- even though hes not actually real!!

Will Bartlett managed a fantastic 50 metre try, a Number 8 running 50 metres- why would he do that I hear you ask?! I promised him a mcds after the game THATS WHY!!!
A contender for man of the match was definitely Munashe Chibinjana, who is currently adapting to the British weather having moved over from Zimbabwe!! Ive told him the equivalent to Robert Mugabe over here is Boris Johnson to which his response was 'His hair is funny', see guys, Munashe isnt just great at rugby, he provides fantastic insights into British Politics!!
Munashe also took over the kicking duties from Dorian Squires and it proved to be another masterstroke with Munashe landing all but one of his kicks!!!!

The real hero on Saturday was our second row Jamma Fitch, he managed a Hattrick and then somehow managed to break his leg in 2 places!!! It was a devastating blow considering Jamma was top scorer this season so far!!
How is Jamma I hear you ask?
Well he is fine and has just had an operation, to be honest its not the leg you need to worry about.... He will contract MRSA in the near future, we will claim on his life insurance and then build an even bigger clubhouse- Thanks Jamma in advance.

Final score Lakenham 47-0 Broadland

A massive thankyou to Broadland for travelling its not easy looking at our front row who resemble the teenage mutant ninja turtles!!

Free weekend this week, however I will be spending time;
* Solving World hunger
* Sorting out brexit
* Watching England Vs Argentina
* And Mourning Jamma

Thats all for now
