The Ladies team had another fun day out at the Norwich Rebels summer Touch Rugby tournament this weekend, with glorious weather, a delicious picnic, and our ever-present gang of supporters.
It was clear that the ladies have been making real progress through hard work at extra training, and the opposition teams had to work hard for their points. The Lionesses are sadly still to secure a win at touch, but this week's player of the match, who is brand new to rugby just a few weeks ago, scored the first try (hopefully of many) for the Touch team - well done Inga! This was closely followed by last round's player of the week Josie Maidment with a try of her own. All the ladies did a fantastic job in the hot weather, running hard and fast right to the last whistle.
If you'd like to come and support us we'd love to see you, the next round of Touch is at Eaton Park from 10:30am on Sunday 30th June.
