Now that the dust has settled on another season in the Evo-Stik Premier League, let’s take a look at which teams have been relegated and which teams have been promoted.

But first let’s see who secured safety for another year.

Mickleover Sports managed to avoid the relegation zone with 41 points, just the one point over Marine who couldn’t manage to escape the relegation zone. In the 2018/19 season, Lancaster played Mickleover home and away with both fixtures ending in draws.

Grantham Town, Stalybridge Celtic and Bamber Bridge all ended the season with 42 points. Similarly to Mickleover, Bamber Bridge were another team where both fixtures against Lancaster ended in a draw.
Earlier in the season, the news broke out that North Ferriby United were forced to exit the league. This meant that only two teams would be relegated.

These two relegated teams are Workington who had a very bad season ending with eight wins, five draws and a massive 27 defeats, overall ending their season with 29 points.

The next club to be relegated were Marine. While their season was not as disastrous as Workington’s was, Marine were unfortunate to not make it out of the relegation zone.

Marine ended the season on 40 points with 10 wins, 10 draws and 20 defeats.

The new teams joining Lancaster in the Evo-Stik Premier League will be Ashton United, Atherton Collieries, FC United of Manchester, Morpeth Town and Radcliffe.

Both Ashton United and FC United of Manchester were relegated from the National League North.

Atherton Collieries and Radcliffe gained promotion from the Northern Premier League West, whereas Morpeth Town won promotion from the Northern Premier League West Division.
