Lancaster City Football Club UPDATE

Owing to the uncertainties currently prevailing around the pandemic situation we do not yet know how many spectators to allow into matches. Discussions are still ongoing at government and F.A. level around how to safely re-admit crowds into matches, and if these are not concluded before the season officially starts on 19th September, it is possible we will be instructed by the government to play behind closed doors. At the moment we are working on the assumption we will be allowed the maximum number for public gatherings, which is 30. However many paying spectators are permitted we shall always endeavour to give priority allocation to season ticket holders. Anyone attending a match will only be admitted under strict Covid secure compliance conditions. The club is preparing a comprehensive risk analysis and will be implementing social distancing measures at Giant Axe on match-days. Further details will be released shortly. Despite all the best efforts of our selves, other clubs, the league and even the F.A., during the season matches can still be postponed, or even cancelled, at short notice due to Coronavirus events beyond our control. Thank you for your continued support and understanding in these difficult times.
