The PitchIng in Northern Premier League, along with fellow Pitching In Leagues Southern and Isthmian, (the Trident Leagues) following consultation with all 224 clubs, announced today that a substantial number of clubs agreed in a ballot to continue the current pause in the season. This is subject to comment by The Football Association. A further statement will be issued in due course.

Trident League representatives, in conjunction with The Football Association, are intent on conducting further negotiations with the government’s Department of Culture, Media and Sport, around possible grants and the new Tier 2 & 3 criteria imposed, in particular, a return to the level of spectators permitted before Lockdown 2.0. Timeframe for these negotiations will align with, and hopefully inform, the government’s next coronavirus, restriction review scheduled for 16th December."
