Lancaster City would like to welcome Craig Thompson to our ranks at Giant Axe. Craig will be on commentary for Dolly Blue Sound at each home and away game during the upcoming 2022/23 season.

Having gained experience with AFC Fylde last season, we’re delighted to have Craig on board for his insight having previously published articles with Falbros Media Group, Ronnie Dog Media and Outside the 92. Craig has served as a researcher for Sports Interactive and Football Manager over the past four seasons and he’s as excited to begin as we are; “I can’t wait to get started at the Giant Axe next season, it’s a dream come true for me to contribute to a fantastic football club and be a part of the journey at Lancaster City.”

‘Dolly Blue Sound’ will be available free for fans to listen to both home and away when you can’t make it down to the game. The service will be available on Mixlr through a traditional online website and also via an app - please download it from your phone's app store for free. Broadcasts will begin 15 minutes before kick-off each match day featuring guest appearances, news from around the club and match commentary.
