One to Watch – Matthew Tymon
Despite not being in the best run of form recently, Whitby’s striker Matthew Tymon has scored a number of goals for Town this year. The official Whitby Town website describes Tymon as a tall, pacey, skilful striker capable of turning a game.

Previous Meeting
Lancaster’s last meeting with Whitby took place not too long ago in February at Whitby’s Turnbull Ground. The match saw both teams share the points with a 1-1 scoreline. The match started brightly with both teams trying to find chances to open the scoring. With 22 minutes on the clock, the Blues won a corner which was curled in by Charlie Bailey. The floating ball found its way onto the rising head of Matty Blinkhorn who headed the ball in the net to make it 1-0 to the visiting Blues. But City could not hold on to half time with the lead. In added time, Town’s Leon Scott picked up the ball 25 yards from goal, curling a deflected effort into the top corner for his second goal in as many games. The second half was a much more open affair with both teams trying hard to grab a winner. But it was not to be for either team.
